SmartShare’s powerful file sharing component provides a reliable and secure way to manage and share files across computers running on most common platforms including Windows, NetWare, UNIX, LINUX and Macintosh. SmartShare FS allows you to easily share spreadsheets, databases, letters, image and data files without having to copy your files back and forth between your computer and ZIP/floppy disks. It also allows you to protect important files against power surges and other hardware or OS failures by providing for easy data backup and recovery (either standalone or as a front-end to your Storage Area Network (SAN).
